Allow me to suggest some sites, and introduce you to some singer friends of mine with web sites.

HOBBIES, ENTERTAINMENT, & MORE:

My all-time favorite source of entertainment and food for thought is Star Trek.

I also am a "MSTie", a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000. An on-line friend of mine manages the official web site and FAQ.

I am an avid, active, addicted geocacher, aka EMC of Northridge, CA.

It's not possible for me not to be amazed by the incredibly adorable and fascinatingly talented Jackie Chan.

I also must admit to being a long-standing fan of The Monkees.

For the best in hysterical a capella vocal funk/acid/disco/jazz/?!/ska, it doesn't get any better than The Bobs.

I've recently become a big fan of the rock group Oingo Boingo. Go figure. (Must have something to do with that lead singer . . . )

If you haven't had a Krispy Kreme donut, you've never really had a donut!! The good and bad news is that a shop just opened a half mile from my house. I guess I'll have to jog there.

I am a member of Northridge Kiwanis, and even served as treasurer for three years. It's a true pleasure to give back to the community through their many service projects.

A few years ago, I enjoyed studying Kung Fu San Soo with Master Lawrence Rouse.

Two words: Iron Chef ! "Allez cuisine!!"

"What's your favorite color?" "Red - - no, BLUE! - aaaugh!!" -Monty Python

I enjoy square dancing, and am a member of the Valley Trailers.

Do you know Why Cats Paint?

I am a member of two societies for folks with high IQ's: Mensa and the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry (ISPE).

I spend time with The Good Book on a regular basis.

STUPID AND NOT-SO-STUPID WEB TRICKS:

Through the internet, one can send
virtual flowers.

One can also be surreally complimented!! in English, or perhaps French or Italian or . . .???

Make a pilgrimage to the Oracle of Bacon and let me know if you can think of anyone with a Bacon Number higher than 3! Um... MY Bacon Number is 2!!

SINGERS:

Here are some of my talented friends:

I worked with Aidan Bell in Vienna, Austria, when we were both in the cast of Freudiana.

Joan Beal, another fabulous soprano, specilist in opera and middle-Eastern styles, can be heard on many TV shows, movies, and commercials.

Anna Callahan is a consummate and extremely versatile jazzer.

Click on Tim Davis's site to hear some clips from the work we do together on Glee!, then continue listening to hear his wide-ranging spectacular vocal performances. (I'm featured on his illustrious page of singers, too!)

Some of the best music I've ever sung was written by Paul Gibson; do explore his compositions on his site.

Ritt Henn not only sings, but plays bass and writes songs. He wrote one inspired by me once called, "Sculling Down the Nile Backwards" (get it?) and I've appeared as a guest star on his public access TV show - e-mail him for the scheduled date it'll be rerun!

One of the most talented, versatile, and ambitious singers on the planet is Darlene Koldenhoven.

Tenor, lyricist, and fun guy Ross Halper is based in the Bay Area.

Judith Siirila Paskowitz is a singer's singer with the resume to prove it.

Voxfire is the collaboration of three of the West Coast's most highly regarded interpreters of early and contemporary vocal music: Susan Judy, Christen Herman, and Samela Aird Beasom.

John West is a true renaissance man, not only a top-notch organist, but a fabulous singer, conductor, and friend.

Andy Zaron has a new CD out and sings in what seems like just about everything all over Germany.
